City of Oklahoma City Public Works Division
Public Works maintains the City's infrastructure, streets, bridges, drainage and traffic control facilities. The department reviews and issues construction related permits, works with engineers and contractors on capital improvement projects and improvements to City properties. This site also contains all of the cities construction standards, which are a vital resource if you are planning a construction project.
Oklahoma Department of Transportation
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation's goal is to provide a safe, economical, and effective transportation network for the people, commerce and communities of Oklahoma. This is a great resource for updates on work zones and infrastructure construction projects throughout the state of Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Municipal Contractors Association
The Oklahoma Municipal Contractors Association (OMCA) has been working for the benefit of all municipal utilities contractors since incorporation on February 20, 1950. As the work load increased with greater emphasis on water supply and pollution control, so have the problems become more complex and demanding. A national voice in the construction industry was secured when the OMCA became a charter chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America on September 30, 1965.
Oklahoma Asphalt Pavement Association
The Oklahoma Asphalt Pavement Association (OAPA) is a non-profit trade association representing the asphalt hot-mix producers operating in and for the state of Oklahoma. Our producer members account for approximately 90% of all hot-mix asphalt production within the state.
